Stubborn

Many people these days are quite stubborn and unwilling to accept new concepts. There are those people who will never believe a thing you say; no matter the evidence you provide. It can feel like you are trying to convince a brick wall of something. I don't know about you, but if find brick walls hard to talk to. Where might the world be today there was no stubborn element in a person's personality. Would everything fantastic and ethical flourish in a country run by enormous corporations? Would people be led away from everything unethical and damaging? Would we have a world without pain and agony? Maybe, but we will never know because of human nature. Why does the human mind function the way it does? All these questions are questions that numerous people would kill to know the answers to. Politicians are stubborn beyond belief. They are supposed to be impartial, but i believe they will always hold to their personal beliefs, even if it's not in the general publics best interest. It tends to annoy me when i know something is factually right and i end up having to persuade a person that it is right. Often times, the person is just too stubborn to accept the facts. The result of this is another ignorrant person walking the world among us. Ignorrance, or unawareness, is one of those aspects of human life that needs to be eliminated. There is vast world around us where a myriad of things happen constantly and simultaneously. Most of us are blind to these happenings and just truly don't know anything. The unfortunate thing about the world is that even if everyone were equal, there would still bve some sort of problem. Humanity could never survive is everything was equal. I sit here and wonder what is going on right now in the world. I sit here and talk about other people being stubborn when really, everyone is stubborn, even me. I wonder what knowledge i am truly missing out on by being so stubborn. Maybe someday, we as people, will be more open to new perspectives and new ways of life; until then, every man, women, and child will suffer in silence.
